new album — 'Everytime I close my eyes'

Marta Cascales Alimbau, a Barcelona-born pianist and composer, crafts classical-rooted music with a contemporary, minimalist, and poetic essence.

Her latest piano piece is featured on 'Piano Day Vol 2' (2023), alongside artists like Yann Tiersen and Liam Mour, released via Nils Frahm's Berlin label LEITER. She's also collaborating with Deutsche Grammophon for a project set for the end of 2024.

In her new album she fuses for the first time her voice singing, along with the piano, strings and subtle beats. This record is about the power of love, being brave, about constant movement.
